Your Responsibilities
As a Kitchen Hand, Food Service Assistant or Catering Attendant, your responsibilities may include:

- Setting up and delivering food and drink trolleys
- Preparing and plating meals, including texture-modified foods and fluids
- Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads and snacks
- Recording food temperatures and maintaining food safety standards
- Washing dishes and maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen areas
- Following infection control and food hygiene procedures
- Working with modified diets in accordance with IDDSI guidelines
- Assisting with meal service and general kitchen duties as required

What We're Looking For

- Minimum 6 months' experience in a Kitchen Hand, Food Service Assistant, Catering Attendant or similar food services role within an Aged Care or Hospital environment
- Knowledge and experience with modified diets and IDDSI guidelines
- Strong understanding of food safety,



hygiene and infection control requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Current National Police Check (issued within the last 12 months)
- Current Working With Children Check
- Current COVID-19 vaccinations
- 2026 Influenza Vaccination
- Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Availability to work a minimum of 3 days per week
