About the Role
Are you highly organised, curious, proactive and looking to build your career in project management?
South Regional TAFE is establishing a new Project Management Officer (PMO) to support the delivery of major Commonwealth and State funded initiatives, including projects that will influence workforce development, industry partnerships, student success and innovation across the vocational education and training sector.
As the Project Support Officer, you will work alongside the Manager Strategic Projects and PMO as part of a small, high-performing team delivering projects of regional, state and national significance.
This is an opportunity to gain exposure to project management, governance, stakeholder engagement, research, reporting and strategic initiatives while developing valuable skills that will support your future career growth
What you’ll be doing
You will support successful project delivery by:
- Coordinating project activities and schedules across multiple projects.
- Supporting governance processes, working groups and steering committees.
- Preparing reports, meeting papers, minutes and project documentation.
- Maintaining project registers, action plans and reporting systems.
- Assisting with stakeholder engagement activities, workshops and events.
- Supporting research, evaluation and information gathering activities.
- Monitoring project milestones and reporting obligations.
- Assisting with procurement, travel and financial administration activities.
- Working with internal and external stakeholders to support project outcomes.
What we’re looking for

Qualifications in project management, business administration or a related field will be well regarded, but are not essential.
