Dorsal by the Sea in Forster-Tuncurry offers a vibrant and diverse dining menu that celebrates up-to-date Australian cuisine with global influences. We are looking for full time Chefs to join our kitchen Team

Duties and responsibilities

- Preparing and cooking food as per restaurant menu

- Planning menu items

- Estimate food and labour costs, and ordering food supplies

- Ensure quality and presentation of all foods

- Training and developing kitchen staff

- Receiving & storing food stocks, kitchen supplies and equipment

- Discussing food preparation issues with senior management

- Implement, explain and enforcing hygiene regulations & secure Workplace

- Select and train staff

- Freeze and preserve foods

Qualifications and Experience

- Must have AQF Certificate IV in Kitchen Management and Diploma of Hospitality Management

- Must have experience worked as Chef minimum 1 year
