Armidale Care for Seniors Inc. is funded through CHSP, providing Social Support and Community Engagement, both group and individual.

About the role

This is a broad senior leadership role with responsibility for client focused service delivery, workforce leadership, compliance, budgets and continuous improvement. You will help identify opportunities for growth and ensure the organisation is well positioned to respond to ongoing aged care reforms and the recently publicised extension of the CHSP.

Key responsibilities

- Leading the day-to-day operations of ACFS

- Ensuring services meet the the Aged Care Act 2024, Strengthened Aged Care Quality Standards and all relevant legislative, contractual and funding requirements

- Overseeing CHSP performance, reporting and service delivery

- Supporting and mentoring the Activities Coordinator and a team of volunteers

- Monitoring budgets, service outcomes, risk and operational performance

- Maintaining strong governance, policies,



procedures and compliance systems

- Identifying service improvements, funding opportunities and areas for sustainable growth

- Reporting to the Management Committee ensuring they have knowledge and information to make informed decisions

- Ensuring clients and their families receive responsive, respectful and person-centred support

- Leading complaint resolution, quality improvement and risk-management activities

About you

- Confident and approachable leader

- Solid operational experience across aged care, home care or health services
