Skills & Experience (Must Have)
- Experience in the disability industry
- Current First Aid & CPR
- Blue Card / NSW Working With Children Check
- Yellow Card / NDIS Worker Screening Check
- Current Police Check
- Open Driver’s Licence
- Reliable vehicle with registration & insurance
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with personal care and daily living tasks
- Support participants to attend appointments and access the community
- Encourage skill development, independence and routine building
- Implement individualised support and behaviour strategies
- Respond appropriately to challenging or defensive behaviours
- Maintain accurate shift notes, progress notes and incident reports
- Follow NDIS Practice Standards and ADC policies
Essential Requirements
- Physically fit for active shifts
- Proven experience supporting individuals with complex or psychosocial needs
- Strong documentation and data‑entry skills
- Positive, calm and team‑focused attitude
- Completion of the NDIS Worker Orientation Module
- Willingness to complete ADC induction and ongoing training
- MAYBO or equivalent behaviour‑support training (preferred)
