An exciting opportunity is available for a Specialist Medical Practitioner / Radiologist to join a Tasmanian health service in a permanent full-time, day worker (on-call) position, commencing October. Hours are up to 76 hours per fortnight, with flexibility to negotiate.

Remuneration:

- $222,789 – $305,539 p.a. pro rata + 12% superannuation
- Market allowance of $54,000–$95,000
- 35% Private Practice Scheme or equivalent allowance
- $17,483 p.a. CPD allowance, pro rata
- Salary packaging, including up to $9,010 living expenses + $2,650 meals & entertainment
- Fully maintained private vehicle or $30,254 vehicle allowance, pro rata

Eligibility:

Applicants must hold specialist registration,



be an IMG on the specialist pathway, or hold a recognised overseas specialist qualification with sufficient relevant experience.

Experience across CT, MRI, ultrasound and plain X-ray is desirable, as is competency in Tier A interventional procedures, including basic diagnostic angiography.

The selection process may also be used to fill subsequent full-time, part time and casual vacancies for up to 12 months.
