The Opportunity
As an Intermediate Accountant, you will be well supported from day one. Guided by the Partner and the senior team around you, you will have the training, mentoring and guidance to build strong foundations and grow your career at a pace that works for you.
Position Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Partners and team members to ensure client work is completed in a timely manner
- Take the lead in preparing Financial Statements and Income Tax Returns for individuals, companies, trusts, partnerships and SMSFs
- Prepare BAS, IAS, FBT, CGT and PAYG for a variety of companies and trusts
- Prepare and deliver annual workers compensation and payroll tax reconciliations
- Be coached directly by an experienced Partner with the aim to manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Liaise with various statutory authorities on behalf of clients
- Help provide an exceptional service to our clients
- Participate in training seminars, team meetings and social events
- Offer support and training to junior team members
About You
- At least 1 year of experience in an Accounting Practice
- Working towards your Chartered Accountant qualification, or keen to get started
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting or similar
- Comfortable with accounting software, such as APS, MYOB, Xero and QuickBooks
- A confident communicator, both written and verbal
- Naturally organised with a great eye for detail
- Warm, customer-focused and positive in your approach
- Genuinely care about doing great work for your clients
- Proactive, self-motivated and always happy to pitch in
- Excited to keep learning and growing your career
