Starlux Airlines Co., Ltd is a Taiwanese full-service carrier headquartered in Taipei established in 2018. Starlux Airlines Co., Ltd has established a branch office in Australia (STARLUX) to support its planned passenger and cargo operations in the Australian market, including sales and marketing, customer service, cargo activities and airport-related operations.

STARLUX is looking for a Station Manager for the branch office. The position is full-time and based at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport, Mascot, Sydney.

The tasks and responsibilities of this role include the following:

- Manage and direct the operations of STARLUX's office at Sydney Kingsford Smith Airport (Airport Office);

- Oversee daily airport operations to ensure operational efficiency and regulatory compliance;

- Ensure the Airport Office adheres to operational, safety and security procedures, as well as STARLUX policies, and regulatory requirements;

- Represent the Airport Office; establish and maintain positive relations with local airport authorities, governmental agencies, and relevant stakeholders.

- Recruit, interview, train, supervise and evaluate Airport Office employees;

- Supervise the ground handling agent and ensure service quality is in line with standards and expectations;





- Conduct scheduled self-audits of the business and coordinate external audits according to relevant regulations and requirements;

- Serve as STARLUX representative to participate in Airline Operators Committee events and meetings;

- Be responsible for Airport Office’s annual manpower estimation and budget planning; develop and implement Airport Office employees’ shift schedules;

- Serve as the liaison between Airport Office and other relevant departments of STARLUX.

Skills & Experience required for the position

- Bachelor degree in Transportation Science or similar field;

- At least 5 years' experience in airport station/office operations positions;

- Be proficient with operational systems of Amadeus Altéa Suite: CM, FM, ARD Web and WorldTracer, etc.

- Can work rotating shifts including nights, holidays, weekends and days off, and be adaptable to work additional hours on short notice when operationally required.

- Have excellent multitasking, communication, proven leadership and people management skills.

- Can react quickly and solve difficult problems as well as be attentive to details.
