The Role

Reporting to the Head of Fundraising and Philanthropy, the newly created Philanthropy Manager will drive sustainable income through major donors, trusts and foundations, gifts in wills, and other high-value funding opportunities. This role also includes the potential to lead a small team.

You will develop and manage a portfolio of major supporters, secure significant philanthropic investment, and deliver exceptional donor stewardship. Working collaboratively across the organisation, you will partner with Executive Leadership, program teams, Board members and external stakeholders to communicate impact, identify funding opportunities, and strengthen the organisation's philanthropic profile.

The role combines strategic relationship management with hands-on fundraising execution, and champions best practice in donor engagement,



stewardship and CRM management to achieve sustainable fundraising growth.

The Candidate

With a strong track record in philanthropy and charitable trusts, you are experienced in managing mid-level donor and prospect portfolios using relationship fundraising, moves management, stewardship and donor lifecycle principles.

You will also have proven success preparing high-quality funding proposals, grant applications, reports, acquittals, donor communications and impact stories that achieve positive funding outcomes.
