About the role

We are seeking a General Factory Hand to join our manufacturing team at our Dingley Village facility. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in supporting our production operations. As a General Factory Hand, you will contribute to the efficient assembly and processing of pump components, ensuring that our products meet the rigorous quality standards our customers expect. Your work will be fundamental to maintaining our production schedules and supporting the broader objectives of the organisation.

Key responsibilities

- Assisting with the assembly of pump components and sub-assemblies according to work instructions and specifications

- Spray painting of finished goods

- Operating machinery and equipment safely and effectively under supervision

- Maintaining a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety protocols

- Supporting the packaging and labelling of finished products for dispatch

- Following standard operating procedures and workplace policies consistently

- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate workflow

- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing department





- Pick up or drop off of equipment when requested

What we're looking for

- Basic literacy and numeracy skills, with the ability to read and understand work instructions

- Physical capability to perform manual labour, including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods

- A strong commitment to health and safety practices and workplace protocols

- Reliability and punctuality, with the ability to maintain consistent attendance

- A willingness to follow instructions and work as part of a team

- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain quality standards

- Good communication skills and the ability to take direction from supervisors

- Preferably, experience working in a manufacturing, assembly or warehouse environment

- Must have a drivers license
