Gem Barber is looking for an experienced barber to join our small team at 54 Marcus Clarke Street, Canberra City. We have built Gem Barber around creating a calm, professional and welcoming experience for both our clients and our team. We are located near the ANU and surrounding offices, away from the noise and rush of a busy shopping centre. We take pride in giving each appointment the time it deserves. Our barbers provide consistently high-quality work, listen to their clients, communicate well and make people feel comfortable in the chair.
Key responsibilities
Provide modern and classic men's haircuts, fades, scissor work and beard grooming
Listen to clients and communicate well to make people feel comfortable
Keep station and tools clean and organised
Work as part of a small, respectful team
About you
At least 2 years of barbering experience,
training or study
Confident with modern and classic men's haircuts, fades, scissor work and beard grooming
Friendly, calm and comfortable speaking with different types of clients
Reliable, punctual and takes pride in their work
Works well as part of a small, respectful team
Photos, videos or a portfolio of recent barbering work must be provided with your application
