The Role
We’re looking for a reliable and experienced Ute driver to join our team. You’ll be responsible for towing trailers, transporting towable equipment and carrying general freight on the ute tray throughout Sydney Metro.
This is a Monday to Friday position, with occasional overtime and Saturday work as required.
Key responsibilities
Tow trailers and transport equipment and general freight across Sydney Metro
Safely load and secure freight and equipment
Connect, tow and manoeuvre trailers safely
Complete daily pre-start checks
Collect and deliver goods to customers and job sites
Complete delivery paperwork and job records
Communicate professionally with customers
Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
Follow all company safety procedures and requirements
What you’ll bring
Current Australian C Class driver's licence
Clear driving history
Previous experience towing trailers
Confident reversing and manoeuvring trailers
Current White Card or willingness to obtain one
Valuable understanding of load restraint and safe towing practices
Reliable, punctual and able to work independently
Robust attention to detail and a safety-first attitude
Valuable communication and customer service skills
Comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for job management
Transport, construction or equipment hire experience is highly regarded
