Better Support Solutions is looking for a passionate and motivated Job Coach to join our growing NDIS team.

About the Role

As a Job Coach, you will work closely with NDIS participants to identify their employment goals, develop work-ready skills and support them to successfully find and maintain meaningful employment.

Key Responsibilities
Work one-on-one with NDIS participants to identify their employment interests, strengths and goals
Assist participants with job searching, resume preparation and job applications
Provide interview preparation and workplace skills training
Support participants during their transition into employment
Develop positive relationships with employers and explore suitable employment opportunities
Provide ongoing workplace support to help participants maintain employment
Encourage independence, confidence and skill development
Maintain accurate case notes and required documentation
Cold-calling prospective employers

About You

We are looking for someone who is:
Passionate about supporting people with disability
Having experience in employment services, recruitment, customer service, community services, disability support, education or case management.
Qualification in Employment Services is preferred but not essential
Positive, patient, reliable and person-centred
Confident communicating with participants, families and employers
Organised and able to work independently
Experienced in employment services, disability support, career coaching or a related field
Understanding of the NDIS and/or disability sector is highly desirable
Previous experience supporting people with disability into employment is an advantage

Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
