We're looking for a reliable, engaging Disability Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to our participants. This role suits someone who enjoys building genuine rapport, supporting active routines, and helping people build confidence and independence in their daily lives.
Key responsibilities
Provide one-to-one support with community access, including appointments, outings, and social activities
Assist with transport, with a robust focus on safe and confident driving
Support daily care routines while promoting participant independence
Encourage participation in physical activity and structured routines where relevant to the participant's goals
Build positive, friendly rapport with participants through genuine, respectful engagement
Monitor participant wellbeing and report any changes or concerns to the care team
Maintain transparent, professional, and timely communication with the Faith Walk care team
About you

NDIS Worker Screening Check
Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification
Minimum 6 months verified experience in disability sector
Must have a car and driver's licence with willingness to drive
First Aid and CPR certification (current, or willing to obtain before start)
Reliable, punctual, and consistent someone participants and families can count on
Strong interpersonal skills and a warm, easygoing manner
Comfortable following structured routines and supporting goal-focused activities
Confident, secure driver with a clean driving history
Resilient and adaptable, with genuine care for the people you support
