We are seeking a passionate and qualified Early Childhood Teacher to lead our mixed-age Kindergarten room (3–4 years). You will plan and deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and the National Quality Standard (NQS), while fostering a calm, respectful, and inclusive classroom culture.

What You'll Do
Plan, implement, and evaluate a kindergarten program for a mixed-age 3–4 year old cohort
Build genuine, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
Maintain accurate documentation, observations, and learning records
Work collaboratively with your co-educators and room team to support each child's individual development
Contribute to a safe, compliant setting in line with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
Actively participate in centre programs, family engagement initiatives, and quality improvement processes

What We're Looking For
Bachelor of Early Childhood Education (or equivalent) with current VIT (Victorian Institute of Teaching) registration — essential




Demonstrated teaching experience in an early childhood or kindergarten setting
Sound understanding of the EYLF, NQS, and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework
Robust communication and relationship-building skills with children, families, and team members
A calm, warm, and professional approach to classroom leadership
Montessori training or experience is highly regarded, though not essential — we welcome teachers keen to learn the Montessori approach on the job
Current Working with Children Check, First Aid/CPR/Anaphylaxis/Asthma certification (or willingness to obtain)
