We are seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Diesel Mechanic to join our team. The role primarily involves servicing and repairing trucks, with occasional work on machinery. This is a great chance for an experienced mechanic who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and can work independently.

Key Responsibilities

· Identify and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in engines and related components

· Remove and dismantle engine units, gearboxes, steering systems, and other parts for inspection

· Replace or repair faulty and worn components, then reassemble systems using technical references where needed

· Carry out routine servicing such as oil changes, lubrication, and engine adjustments to improve performance and meet environmental standards

· Refit engines and components after repairs are completed

· Test and fine-tune mechanical systems post-repair to ensure optimal function

· Use diagnostic tools and computer systems to assess component performance

· Inspect vehicles to determine roadworthiness and provide reports or certificates as required





· Attend to roadside breakdowns and perform necessary repairs

Requirements
Minimum 1 years’ experience as a Diesel Mechanic (preferred)
Robust understanding of truck and machinery maintenance
MR Licence (preferred)
Own reliable transport
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Reliability and commitment to high-quality work
