Established gourmet food company based in St Peters is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented team member for warehouse and food production duties.

This role would suit someone who enjoys hands-on work, takes pride in doing things properly, and can work independently once trained.

Duties include:
Picking and packing customer orders
Weighing, preparing and packing gourmet food products
Labelling containers, pouches and bottles accurately
Preparing products for dispatch and carton packing
Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the warehouse
Assisting with stock control and general warehouse duties
Following food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety procedures

Applicants must have sufficient English language skills to understand written and verbal instructions and communicate effectively in the workplace.

This role requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You will be responsible for preparing, weighing, labelling and packing a wide range of gourmet food products. Accuracy is essential, as product weights, labels and packaging must be completed correctly before dispatch.

Casual rate: $32.31 per hour during training and probation period. Higher rates available for employees who demonstrate reliability, accuracy, independence and a willingness to take on additional responsibility.

Hours:
Monday to Friday, 7:30am – 4:00pm

This is a long-term position. Applicants seeking short-term work or working holiday visa holders will not be considered.
