Our client, with a state of the art mechanical workshop in Blacktown, offer specialist repairs covering PC automatic transmissions, CV transmissions for truck and bus, construction equipment axles, transmissions, and industrial axles and a full range of marine transmissions.
They are currently recruiting a Workshop Labourer to join their team on a permanent basis.
Monday - Friday: 6am - 2.16pm
About the role
To maintain the highest possible standard of production and warehouse housekeeping, Production equipment maintenance and General workshop/company duties
Responsibilities of the role:
Daily activities in the production repair including but not limited to dismantling and cleaning of the products
Local pickup and delivery of customer transmissions, sub-contract supplies as required
Receiving the incoming transmission and maintaining the WIP racks in the order - with forklift
Preparing the finished product, Painting and delivering the product to the warehouse
Organising core units return to warehouse and accurate completion of the documentation
Maintaining the correct quantities of all the production consumables
Company maintenance activity
Adhere the company WHS policy to obtain highest level of safety in the production area
Requirements and skills:
Experience working in a warehouse/workshop workplace
Current C class licence
Forklift Licence
Permanent resident / Australian citizenship
