We are currently seeking skilled, reliable and experienced Security Guards to join our team on a part time basis across the Melbourne region.
The role involves providing security services across retail stores and bottle shops, including both static guarding and tactical response duties. We are looking for confident and well-presented security professionals with robust situational awareness, excellent communication skills and the ability to manage a range of security situations calmly and professionally.
Key Responsibilities
Provide static guarding services at assigned retail and bottle shop locations
Maintain a highly visible security presence to deter theft, antisocial behaviour and other security risks
Conduct patrols and tactical response duties where required
Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies and security concerns
Monitor and identify suspicious or high-risk behaviour
De-escalate challenging situations using skilled communication and conflict-management skills
Prepare detailed, accurate and timely incident reports
Deliver a high standard of customer service while maintaining safety and security
Liaise professionally with clients, store management, staff and other stakeholders
Follow all site-specific procedures, post orders and company policies
Availability
This position is particularly suited to candidates who are available for:
Evening shifts on weekdays and weekends
Additional shifts as required
Applicants must be reliable and able to commit to their agreed rostered shifts.
