About the role The Structural Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all structural works on multi-residential projects, ensuring compliance with design specifications, engineering requirements, and safety regulations. This role oversees the delivery of structural elements from groundworks to framing, managing subcontractors and ensuring high-quality, timely, and secure execution of all works.
Key responsibilities
Plan, coordinate, and supervise all structural construction activities, including earthworks, formwork, steel fixing, concrete works, and framing.
Ensure all works are delivered in accordance with structural drawings, engineering specifications, and Australian Standards.
Monitor and enforce safety, quality, and environmental standards on site.
Manage subcontractors and trades to achieve project milestones and productivity targets.
Conduct regular inspections and quality checks to identify and rectify non-conformances.
Liaise with engineers, Site Manager, and Project Manager to resolve technical and structural issues.
Coordinate material deliveries and storage to ensure efficiency and prevent damage.
Review and verify compliance of temporary works and lifting plans.
Maintain accurate daily site records and reporting.
Promote a safe, organised, and compliant work workplace.
About you
Proven experience as a Structural Foreman or similar role in multi-residential (20+ levels).
Strong technical knowledge of structural construction, engineering principles, and materials.
Ability to read and interpret complex construction drawings and specifications.
Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Solid leadership and interpersonal skills to manage teams and subcontractors.
Commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
Relevant trade qualification or equivalent construction experience.
Current QLD General Construction Induction Card (White Card).
Current Queensland Driver Licence (Class C minimum).
High Risk Work Licence (desirable, depending on structural activities).
