About the role:
Join a global manufacturer supporting the Technical Service and Laboratory teams within the coatings industry.
Hands-on role focused on product testing, investigations, and technical support.
Ongoing contract chance based in Sunshine, Melbourne.
Work closely with technical, laboratory, and commercial teams on customer-focused projects.
Monday to Friday, standard working hours.

About your duties:
Perform colour matching, product testing and sample preparation activities.
Assist with customer complaint investigations and product evaluations.
Support new product trials, benchmarking, and development projects.
Record, analyse, and document testing results.
Prepare technical reports and summaries of findings.
Support the successful delivery of small technical projects.
Maintain laboratory housekeeping and follow all safety procedures.

About you:
Previous laboratory experience in a manufacturing, chemical, coatings, food, environmental, or related industry.
Tertiary qualification in Chemistry, Chem Engineering, Science or a related discipline preferred.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Confident using Microsoft Office,



including Word and Excel.
Knowledge of paints, coatings, chemicals, or industrial manufacturing will be highly regarded.
Solid commitment to quality, safety, and teamwork.
