The Job

Lead culinary offering in a multi-faceted venue featuring restaurant, café and private event spaces. Drive a produce driven a la carte offering and facilitate smooth preparation of events.

Monday to Friday base operational hours with versatile roster based on events. Support other venues and catering company on large scale events and weddings.

Upskill, train and develop staff whilst fostering a team setting.

The Role

We are on the search for a talented Sous chef . This role would suit a person that has experience working in respected restaurants and is excited to present their own interpretation of modern Australian in a relaxed restaurant environment.

Your role will be to lead the team in delivering food of an exceptional quality and management of all food labour and cost of valuable.

Responsibilities




Collaborating with the kitchen team in creating and executing menus.
Oversee day to day operations.
Motivating and developing the kitchen team.
Preparing high volumes of food, to a very high standard.
Managing Health & Safety and Food Safety standards.
Prep and service for large group bookings and events.
Managing inventory, ensuring proper stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers for timely deliveries.

About You
Previous experience as Sous ready for the challenge.
Experience in a hatted restaurants is preferred.
A positive can-do attitude.
A keen eye for detail.
A willingness to train and develop.
A passion for high quality food.
Strong knife skills.
Cool under pressure.
Have the right to work in Australia.
