About the role

EVO Power is seeking a Service Electrician to support and maintain our growing fleet of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across Australia. This is an exciting chance to work at the forefront of the clean energy industry, playing a critical role in ensuring our energy storage solutions operate safely, reliably, and efficiently.
Commission, service, troubleshoot, and optimise BESS installations ranging from commercial and industrial applications through to large-scale grid-connected assets
Work alongside Services, Engineering, and Production teams

Key Responsibilities:
Service, maintain, and troubleshoot Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) across project locations.
Conduct site inspections, testing, commissioning, and performance verification of energy storage assets.
Diagnose and resolve faults across batteries, inverters, transformers, protection systems, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
Provide expert technical support to customers, service partners, and field teams both onsite and remotely.
Support HV commissioning,



switching, isolation, and maintenance activities (where certified).
Participate in an after-hours on-call roster supporting critical energy infrastructure.
Maintain accurate service records, reports, and technical documentation.
Ensure all work is completed safely and in compliance with Australian electrical standards, WHS requirements, and company procedures.
Collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Service teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, product enhancements, and operational best practices.
Support the assembly, testing, quality control, and factory acceptance testing of BESS units as required.
Assist with knowledge sharing, training, and upskilling of colleagues and service partners.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $110,000.00 per year
