Hiring: Project Manager – Data Centre / Application Migration

Melbourne | Contract (12 months)

We’re looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead a large-scale data centre / application migration program for a high-profile organisation. This is a hands-on delivery role suited to someone who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments with multiple dependencies.

What you’ll be doing
Lead end-to-end migration delivery (discovery → cutover → validation)
Develop detailed project plans, migration waves, and dependency maps
Define cutover strategies, rollback plans, and governance frameworks
Manage RAID logs, risks, issues, and change control processes
Coordinate across infrastructure, apps, network, security, and vendors
Engage with senior stakeholders and communicate across all levels

What we’re looking for
Proven experience delivering data centre or large-scale migration programs




Solid planning skills (MS Project or similar tools)
Solid understanding of infrastructure, applications, and networks
Experience managing business-critical cutovers and dependencies
Excellent stakeholder & vendor management skills

Nice to have
Cloud / hybrid / co-location migration experience
Background in banking or regulated environments
Familiarity with ITIL, PRINCE2, PMP, or Agile
