We are currently seeking a reliable and physically fit Manual Milling Machine Operator to join a well-established manufacturing team located approximately 10 minutes outside of Albury.

Applications are also encouraged from 3rd or 4th year apprentices who have experience with manual machining and are looking to continue developing their skills within a modern manufacturing workplace.

About the role
Day shift – 6:00am to 2:00pm
$50 per hour for suitably experienced candidates
Regular overtime available with applicable penalty rates
Operating a manual milling machine
Setting up and carrying out machining work as required
Assisting with general manufacturing and production duties
Working within a rapid-paced manufacturing environment
Maintaining a strong focus on quality and workplace safety
Immediate start available

About you
Trade qualified
3rd or 4th year apprentices with relevant manual machining experience are encouraged to apply
Previous manufacturing and/or production experience will be highly regarded
MUST be physically fit and comfortable undertaking hands-on duties
Mechanically minded with a willingness to learn and develop
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Forklift licence will be highly regarded but is not essential
Committed to following workplace safety procedures
Available to work regular overtime when required

Successful applicants will be required to complete a pre-employment medical and Drug & Alcohol screening.
