MADE Prefab is seeking a reliable and hardworking Factory Labourer with a current forklift licence to join our team in Sunshine North.
We manufacture prefabricated steel reinforcement cages for the construction industry. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys physical work and working as part of a production team.
About the role
Your duties will include
Loading, unloading and moving materials using a forklift
Assisting with the assembly and production of steel reinforcement cages
Handling and organising steel materials
Using basic hand and power tools
Preparing materials for production
Keeping the factory and work areas clean and organised
Following workplace health and safety procedures
Assisting other team members as required
What we’re looking for
A current Australian forklift licence – essential
Previous experience in a factory,
warehouse, construction or manufacturing workplace
Physically fit and comfortable performing manual work
Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team
Strong commitment to workplace safety
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks efficiently
Own reliable transport to and from Sunshine North
Full Australian working rights
Experience working with steel or in reinforcement fabrication would be an advantage, but training can be provided to the right person.
