Blue Sky IT Consulting is a Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in Coffs Harbour. We help businesses across the Mid North Coast with their IT support, cybersecurity, cloud solutions, and business technology needs.

We're looking for a motivated Level 1 Help Desk Technician who enjoys helping people, solving problems, and learning current technologies. This role is ideal for someone starting their IT career or looking to build on existing help desk experience

About the role

As a Level 1 Help Desk Technician, you'll be the first point of contact for our clients when they need assistance.

Key responsibilities
Answering support calls, emails, and tickets from clients
Troubleshooting common Microsoft 365, Windows, printer, and networking issues
Setting up new users, computers, and devices
Escalating more complex issues to senior technical staff
Maintaining accurate documentation and ticket notes




Assisting with onboarding recent clients and IT projects
Providing exceptional customer service and communication

About you
Exceptional customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users
Robust problem-solving skills with curiosity and logical thinking
Reliability and accountability with ownership of tasks and processes
Willingness to learn and eagerness to develop skills and grow within the business
Attention to detail with thorough documentation of work
Basic knowledge of Windows 11
Familiarity with Microsoft 365
Understanding of computer hardware and peripherals
Basic networking knowledge
Current driver's licence
