Pyramid Civil are seeking a Heavy and light Diesel Mechanic to join our highly skilled team, servicing our plumbing and Earthworks fleets.

As a Heavy Diesel Mechanic with Pyramid Civil you will be required to service and maintain a variety of earthmoving equipment, light and heavy plant in our fleet. The role is based on our sites around Perth. This role requires someone with strong mechanical experience of heavy equipment.

Key Responsibilities
Perform maintenance, major/minor service, and repairs on excavators, trucks, trailers, and some small engine equipment
Conduct inspections and assessments, completing necessary documentation
Perform tasks to the highest standard possible while meeting deadlines
Uphold safety standards, ensuring a clean and secure work environment
Field technician- onsite repairs

Requirements: The be considered for this role you should have:
AQF Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or equivalent or relevant experience
Minimum 4 years of related experience
A sound knowledge of heavy equipment
A sound knowledge of machine hydraulics
Welding ability for small repairs / bucket repairs




Ability to have attention to detail on light and heavy equipment and trailers
The ability to work in a quick-paced workplace whilst maintaining a high workmanship standard.
Self-sufficient & motivated, reliable and flexible with the ability to solve problems and effectively multi-task.
Effective communication, reading & writing skills.
Ability to work within a team environment and independently as required.
Conduct all activities in a manner to ensure personal safety, safety of others and environmental protection
HC/HR Truck License Highly Regarded
Experience diagnosing and repairing faults
Using diagnostic software to determine faults and plan repair

Important Notes: A valid driver's license and the ability to pass a pre-employment medical check including a drug and alcohol test are minimum requirements.

The successful candidate will need to provide their own basic hand tools.

Pay: $88,000.00 – $128,000.00 per year
