About the Role:
We are searching for a highly experienced Floor Installer and Finisher to join our team in a full time capacity. As the Floor Installer and Finisher you will be responsible for preparing, installing and finishing Engineered Timber and Cork floors.
Company Van and tools provided.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces for covering and installation of engineerd timber and cork flooring.
Measure, cut and fit underlay materials.
Lay flooring as per design, matching patterns, cutting boards and installing around fixtures and edges.
Specialise in complex or difficult installations, including custom patterns.
Collaborate with the team to ensure you are aware of customer preferences and choices before installation.
Oversee quality control to ensure installations are completed properly.
Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and current installation techniques.
Establish and enforce high-quality workmanship.
Act as a point of contact for any issues that arise during the installation process.
Stay current with industry standards, certifications, and installation techniques.
About you:
Proven experience as a floor installer
3+ years’ experience as a floor installer with proven experience with timber and cork floors.
Robust leadership skills and team management skills
Excellent communication skills
Knowledge of safety protocols and industry regulations
Proficiency in using the tools needed to complete the installations.
Certificate III in Flooring Technology highy regarded
Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
