Versatile Chef – All Sections | The Restaurant Pendolino, Sydney

The Restaurant Pendolino, nestled within Sydney's historic Strand Arcade, is seeking an experienced, adaptable chef to join our kitchen brigade on a casual basis. Celebrated for its regionally inspired Italian cuisine, house-made pasta, and some of Australia's finest extra-virgin olive oils and artisanal produce, Pendolino is a landmark of refined dining in the heart of the city.

The Role

This is not a single-section position. We're looking for a well-rounded culinary qualified who can move confidently across all areas of the kitchen — from larder and grill through to pastry — and deliver consistent, high-quality results wherever the brigade needs you. Shifts are available Monday through Saturday (we are closed Sundays and public holidays).

What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' experience in a high-quality restaurant setting
Demonstrated ability to work across multiple sections with confidence




A genuine passion for the craft and a high standard of execution
Knowledge of or strong interest in Italian cuisine is highly regarded
Sound understanding of food safety, OH&S;, and recipe adherence
A collaborative, team-first attitude with the ability to take direction well
