Be Recruitment is seeking passionate and skilled Disability Support Workers & Therapeutic Youth Workers to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care to adults and young people with complex needs.

This role is within residential care settings and requires candidates to hold all relevant qualifications below to be considered – this is non-negotiable.

About the Role:

As a Support Worker you will play a vital role in supporting clients who have experienced significant trauma, disabilities, or mental health conditions. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:
Behavioural management (physical and verbal aggression, property damage, absconding and sexualised behaviours)
Work in a recovery-focused way
Coordinate and implement social outings
Day to day living support
Personal Care
Trauma informed care
Manual Handling
Complete detailed shift notes and incident reports.

Key Requirements
Disability Support Workers: Minimum Certificate 3 minimum in a related field – mandatory
Youth Workers:



Minimum Diploma in a related field – mandatory
Minimum six months of paid experience
NDIS workers check
Full NSW Driver’s Licence
Current First Aid and CPR certification
Valid Working with Children Check (WWCC)
Willingness to undergo a National Police Check
COVID-19 vaccination x3 or valid medical exemption
Availability to work a rotating roster, including days, evenings, weekends, and sleepovers - (must be willing to complete sleepovers to be considered)
