Our client is an established national manufacturer and distributor supplying products into the fire, plumbing, HVAC, industrial and construction sectors. As part of their continued growth in WA, they are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to develop current business across the Perth metropolitan market.

This is a new-business focused external sales role for someone who enjoys being in the market, opening doors, developing relationships and converting opportunities into sales.

The Role
Identify and secure recent customers and business opportunities
Develop and manage your own sales pipeline and territory
Build relationships with contractors, distributors and key industry stakeholders
Identify projects, tenders and opportunities and position the business to win the work
Conduct regular customer and site visits
Develop existing customer relationships and identify cross-selling opportunities
Manage quotations, CRM activity and sales forecasting
Achieve agreed revenue, margin and business development targets

About You We are looking for a proactive,



commercially driven salesperson with a proven track record in B2B business development or external sales.

Industry experience across fire, HVAC, plumbing, industrial, construction or engineering will be highly regarded, although proven sales ability and a genuine appetite for new business are the key requirements.

You will be comfortable prospecting, making new contacts and managing your own territory with a high degree of autonomy.
