As part of our long-term partnership with Viva Energy, Ventia is seeking an experienced and qualified Mechanical Fitter/Boilermaker to join our team at the Viva Energy Terminal in Clyde, Sydney.
In this role, you’ll play an important part in maintaining critical infrastructure that helps keep Australia’s fuel supply moving safely and reliably.
What you’ll need
Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker trade qualification
Recent experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in an industrial workplace
Current Working at Heights and Confined Space Entry tickets
A solid commitment to safety and safe work practices
The ability to work effectively as part of a team while maintaining high standards of workmanship
What you’ll bring
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and fault-finding
Robust interpersonal and communication skills
The ability to follow established processes, procedures and work instructions
Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment
A positive and proactive approach to health,
safety and environmental standards
