The Role

We are currently hiring for an Assistant Manager to joinour medical centre team located at Our Medical North Lakes.

This is a permanent position reporting directly to the Practice Manager. You will be responsible for completing administration tasks and customer service tasks on a day-to-day basis. You will also support the Practice Manager by providing supervision, training and mentoring to new and less experience administration staff to grow into their role.

You will be a customer service-focused skilled with experience working in a general practice workplace. You will be responsible for providing a high-quality service to patients and providing administration support to our healthcare professionals.

You will be familiar with Medicare and will preferably have experience in using Best Practice, practice management software.





Essential Experience & Qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
High standards of personal presentation.
Able to work independently on a variety of administration tasks
Act as a role model within the administration team

The Person

To be considered for this role, you must be able to meet the following criteria:
Previous experience in the healthcare industry in a similar role
Experience with Best Practice or similar practice management systems will be viewed favourably
Self-motivated individual with a professional, enthusiastic and “can do" attitude
Solid attention to detail and ability to problem solve
Highly organised
Experience in people management
