BOILERMAKER / FABRICATOR TRADESMAN

Martin Metal Works – Longwarry, VIC

Martin Metal Works is looking for an experienced Boilermaker / Fabricator Tradesman to join our team in a mainly workshop-based role at our Longwarry facility.

We are a family-owned business carrying out structural and mechanical steel fabrication for the quarry, concrete, industrial and commercial sectors.

THE ROLE

The majority of the position will be based in our workshop and will involve:
Structural steel fabrication.
Conveyors, chutes, hoppers and bins.
Platforms, stairs, handrails and walkways.
Machinery and plant components.
General heavy fabrication.
MIG welding.
Reading and working from fabrication drawings.
Fit-up and assembly of fabricated components.
Occasional onsite installation, maintenance or shutdown work when required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Qualified Boilermaker / Fabricator.
Solid fabrication and welding skills.
Ability to read and understand drawings.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Good attention to detail and pride in workmanship.




Reliable and willing to get in and get the job done.
Current driver's licence.
Construction White Card preferred.

Experience in heavy fabrication, conveyors, quarry equipment or industrial steelwork would be highly regarded.
