JMD Hair Art is seeking a qualified and experienced Hairdresser to join our professional team on a full-time basis. We are looking for a passionate and customer-focused individual committed to delivering high-quality hairdressing services and exceptional client experiences.

Hairdresser (Full-Time)

Salary

$75,000 – $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on skills and experience.

Key Duties and Responsibilities
Consult with clients to assess hair condition and recommend suitable hairstyles, cuts, colours, and treatments.
Cut, trim, shape, and style hair using professional hairdressing techniques and tools.
Perform hair colouring, bleaching, highlighting, tinting, balayage, and colour correction services.
Provide hair treatments including conditioning, scalp treatments, keratin treatments, and other specialised hair care services.
Shampoo, rinse, and prepare clients’ hair for cutting, colouring, and styling services.
Recommend and promote appropriate hair care products to clients.
Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
Maintain salon cleanliness, hygiene,



and workplace health and safety standards.
Manage appointments and maintain accurate client service records.
Keep up to date with current hairdressing trends, techniques, and industry developments.

Essential Requirements
Relevant qualification in Hairdressing or a closely related field (mandatory).
Minimum 1 year of relevant full-time work experience as a Hairdresser.
Solid knowledge of hair cutting, colouring, styling, and treatment techniques.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Professional presentation and a positive attitude.
Commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and client care.
