A Townsville based building company, who are long-standing providers of quality building repairs to the insurance industry, are seeking an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator.

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Administrator to join our finance team. This position is predominantly focused on Accounts Receivable and debtor management. However, as part of a collaborative finance team, the role will also contribute to Accounts Payable and other finance functions during peak workloads, month-end processes, and periods of staff leave.

The role of Accounts Administrator will include but is not limited to;
Manage & maintain company aged accounts receivables.
Proactively follow up overdue invoices via phone and email.
Reconcile customer accounts and resolve payment discrepancies
Investigate and resolve account queries in a timely manner.
Prepare weekly aged receivables reports; internal and external.
Work closely with customers and internal stakeholders to resolve outstanding issues.
Ensuring data entry across multiple databases and programs is appropriate and up to date.




Ensuring that all tasks are successfully managed to company and client expectations within the required timeframes.

The successful applicant will possess;
Solid time management skills and attention to detail
Previous experience in an Accounts/Accounts Admin position
High attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently while meeting targets.
Previous MYOB experience preferable.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks at once in a busy and diverse environment
A proactive and solution focused mindset
Strong computer skills, including intermediate to advanced Microsoft excel skills.
Positive, can do attitude
Solid work ethic and highly motivated
Excellent customer service skills
The ability to obtain a clear National Police Check
