The successful candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, and helping maintain a clean and welcoming café environment.
Key Responsibilities
Take customer orders and process payments accurately.
Prepare and serve food, including breakfast, sandwiches, cakes, and other café items.
Provide friendly and efficient customer service.
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the café, kitchen, and service areas.
Restock supplies and assist with daily café setup and closing duties.
Follow food safety, hygiene, and workplace health and safety procedures.
Work effectively as part of a team during busy service periods.
Assist with other general café duties as required.
Skills & Experience
Previous café, hospitality, or barista experience is preferred.
Barista skills and knowledge of coffee preparation are an advantage.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to work efficiently in a quick-paced environment.
Reliable, punctual, and well presented.
Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Food safety knowledge or certification is an advantage.
