Accounts Officer (Full-Time or Part-Time Considered)

About the role

We are seeking a full time or part time dedicated, motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Officer to join our team in the Northern Beaches. This is a diverse and hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working across finance, administration, and business support functions in a fast-paced events workplace.

You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business while also contributing to process improvement initiatives. For part time, minimum 3 days, availability to work on Fridays is essential.

What you'll be doing
Accounts payable and receivable processing
Client invoicing and reconciliations




Issuing invoices and managing debtor follow-ups
Maintaining accurate financial records
Assisting with month-end reporting
General finance and administration support
Contribute to the continuous improvement of our accounting processes and procedures

What we're looking for
Qualifications in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Experience in an accounting or finance role
Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy
Excellent time management and organisational skills
A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Solid Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate to Advanced)
A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving
