Our Field Service team provide on the ground support to homes and business around the country. As a Trainee Field Technician, you'll be a trusted and familiar face in the community, using technology to solve real-world problems while building hands-on skills and experience that set you up to grow your career., As a Field Delivery Telecommunications Trainee, you will work alongside a mentor offering you ongoing coaching, support and mentoring during your traineeship. You will get hands on training while providing our customers with a great experience by activating and assuring telecommunications / technology products and services, in homes and/or businesses.
You will actively participate in a diverse team environment to deliver the optimum customer and commercial outcomes aligned to Telstra's Behaviours & Habits and corporate strategy.
About the Candidate
* Hold a current drivers licence.
* Physically fit for the role.
* The ability to undergo pre-employment medical and drug alcohol screening.
* Ability to undertake a police check.
* Professional and polite communication.

* Be technically minded.
Qualifications:
As a Trainee Technician you will be provided with Telecommunication Technology Cert III training during the traineeship along with relevant certifications and/or licencing for the location you reside in.
* No prior qualifications needed.
* Language, Literacy and Numeracy assessment undertaken by RTO.

* Full time fixed term employment for 1 year with the opportunity for a permanent contract thereafter.
