Job Description
As an Early Childhood Trainee at Dayaa, you will work alongside our experienced and qualified educators to support children's learning, development, wellbeing and everyday experiences., * Build meaningful and respectful relationships with children and families
* Support educators in providing high-quality, play-based learning experiences
* Assist with setting up and maintaining engaging learning environments
* Participate in children's routines, including meals, rest, hygiene and transitions
* Learn about the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF 2.0)
* Develop your knowledge of child development and early childhood practices
* Gain practical experience while completing your Certificate III
* Work as part of a supportive and collaborative team

About the Candidate
* Currently enrolled in, or willing to enrol in, a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
* Commitment to completing the required training and work placement
* Current Working With Children Check, or willingness to obtain one
* Commitment to child safety and safeguarding
* Good communication and teamwork skills
* Warm, caring and genuinely enjoys working with children
* Enthusiastic and eager to learn
* Reliable, punctual and committed to their studies
* A positive team player who is willing to contribute
* Respectful and professional in their communication
