The Opportunity
Fuse Recruitment are exclusively partnered with a leading Australasian Manufacturing brand and are currently seeking an experiencedMaintenance Supervisorto join their well-established manufacturing facility based inIngleburn.
This is a permanent, full-time, onsite position working alongside the Operations, Production and Maintenance teams to ensure plant and production equipment is maintained to the highest standard.
This is ahands‐on leadership role, with approximately20% supervision and 80% hands‐on maintenance.
You will lead by example, provide technical guidance to the maintenance team and play a key role in minimising downtime and maximising equipment reliability.

About the Site
The facility is a large-scale manufacturing operation producinginsulation and building productsfor residential, commercial and industrial applications.
The site operates sophisticated production lines and automated processing equipment, with a strong focus onsafety, reliability, preventative maintenance and continuous improvement.
This site operates 24 / 7 and this role will see you supervising the weekday maintenance team.
About the Role
Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will work closely with Operations, Production, Engineering, Operators and the Maintenance team to ensure all plant and production machinery is operating safely and efficiently.
You will supervise and support a team offour fitters and electricians, while remaining actively involved in hands‐on maintenance activities across the site.
You day will start with a shift hand over from the Night shift supervisor and your day will end with a shift handover to the afternoon shift supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor and support a team of maintenance tradespeople and machine operators
Oversee maintenance activities across two key production lines
Carry out preventative and breakdown maintenance across plant and equipment
Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical and electrical faults
Maintain and repair automated processing equipment, conveyors and production machinery
Carry out servicing and maintenance of shredders and optical sorting equipment
Coordinate and participate in repairs across site plant and equipment
Manage critical spare parts and maintenance inventory
Lead small maintenance projects and equipment installations
Work closely with Operations, Engineering and Production to improve equipment reliability
Identify opportunities to reduce downtime and improve plant performance
Promote and maintain a strong safety‐first culture
Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility
About You
You will be an experienced maintenance professional with strong technical skills and previous experience leading or supervising maintenance activities in an industrial manufacturing environment.
You will be comfortable workinghands‐on, troubleshooting equipment and supporting your team while maintaining a strong focus on safety, reliability and production performance.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Trade qualification as aMaintenance Fitter or Industrial Electrician
Previous experience supervising or leading a maintenance team
Strong mechanical and electrical fault‐finding and diagnostic skills
Experience in an industrial manufacturing setting
Knowledge of automated production equipment
PLC fault‐finding experience, particularlyAllen Bradley / Siemens, highly advantageous
Experience with conveyors, shredders, optical sorting equipment or similar automated machinery is highly advantageous
Electrical Disconnect/Reconnect competency highly advantageous
Strong understanding of preventative maintenance and equipment reliability
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Strong commitment to WHS
Ability to work collaboratively with Operations and Production
Flexibility to support operational requirements when required
Forklift licence advantageous
