About the Role:
BaptistCare Niola is seeking a Cleaning Assistant on aCasualbasis.
The role will consist of cleaning, kitchen and laundry shifts to cater to our residents needs.
About You:
To be considered, you will have:
Ability to perform under limited supervision the following duties including but not limited to cleaning of general accommodation (residents rooms), bathrooms, living/communal areas and other general/staff areas
Ability to follow cleaning policy, schedule and completing relevant documentation as required
Experience in ensuring residents' clothes and linen are laundered correctly and to the highest standard through sorting of linen and use of correct wash cycle while maintaining cleanliness of equipment and laundry areas
Previous kitchen/servery experience in a similar role
Understanding of work health and safety practices
Previous experience in aged care (desirable)
