We are partnering with a global trading business and looking at expanding their technology team; specifically a team that looks at building complex proprietary software applications that support the traders, allowing them to make the big bucks.
Think about building web scraping/server technologies that are constantly deploying recent services, analyzing logs, making scraping faster and building interfaces that are easily accessible.
These applications include a combination of server-side systems and user interfaces.
You will be involved in the analysis, design and development ofC#applications in a Front Office trading environment.
It's a full stack with a heavy focus on backend C# but also you'll get to tinker with other technologies React, typescript etc.
It's also end-to-end - which means you will work closely with different business units, traders, researchers and closely to traders to gather requirements and solve problems.
Think building proprietary tools that analyse newsfeeds, data feeds, visualise reporting, trade monitoring and messaging to help support trading decisions.




You have experience developing web applications withC#and related technologies(.NET)
Experince with design, profiling, OO, multi-threading, user-interface development with experience on both the client & server side
Previous WPF experience is an advantage or working on other desktop applications
Previous web scraping or web server application development experience would be awesome
Previous experience running and deploying.NET Coreapplications on Linux
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interacting with other members of the team daily
A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in a technical or related discipline
Understanding of web technologies, HTML and JavaScript - react etc.
This is a permanent full-time position paying a salary between $150,000 - $180,000 + super + bonus.
The role is based in Barangaroo and it's based in the office.
