Your Opportunity
Our client's Brisbane office is growing its insolvency team and wants to connect with experienced insolvency professionals at all levels — from Analyst through to Senior Manager.
Whether you're looking to step up into a role with more responsibility, or bring proven experience leading complex appointments, there's an opportunity to have a genuine conversation about where you could fit.
You'll work closely with Registered Liquidators and senior management across a broad range of corporate insolvency and restructuring matters, including Voluntary Administrations, Liquidations, Receiverships, Small Business Restructures and related appointments.
Depending on your level, this could mean anything from managing your own portfolio of matters to overseeing a team and driving strategy on the firm's more complex engagements.
You'll be joining a close-knit, high-performing team that includes several ASIC Registered Liquidators and a strong cohort of Analysts, Senior Analysts and Managers.

Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities Will Scale With Seniority, And May Include
Managing insolvency and restructuring engagements from commencement through to finalisation
Coordinating and supervising junior staff, including allocating tasks and reviewing work
Leading and mentoring a team, and taking ownership of a portfolio's overall performance
Applying a strong understanding of insolvency legislation, case law and statutory obligations
Monitoring and meeting all statutory deadlines and compliance requirementsConducting investigations, interviews with directors and bankrupts, and stakeholder enquiries
Realising assets and coordinating with agents, auctioneers and valuers
Liaising with financiers, lawyers, regulators and other external stakeholders
Preparing and reviewing detailed financial analysis, investigative reports and statutory reports
Designing, developing and analysing financial models
Identifying and resolving complex accounting and technical issues
Contributing to business development, client relationships and referrer networks (senior levels)
Contributing to knowledge-sharing, best practices and team capability development
About You
Across all levels, we're looking for insolvency professionals who have:
Experience in corporate insolvency or restructuring (from a few years through to significant senior-level experience)
Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce (Accounting), or a related discipline
CAANZ or CPA qualification completed, in progress, or willingness to pursue (dependent on level)
Robust technical knowledge of insolvency processes and statutory requirements
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including report writing
Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple matters concurrently
High attention to detail, sound judgement and strong analytical capability
Confidence liaising with external stakeholders including banks, lawyers and advisors
A proactive, commercially minded approach and strong professional integrity
