Woodbury Furniture is seeking aSales Consultantto join our team in Castle Hill, NSW.
This is acasual positionproviding essential support to our sales operations.
As a Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent customer service and contributing to sales performance.
You will work alongside our sales team to ensure customers receive outstanding service and assistance in selecting the perfect furniture solutions for their needs.
What you'll be doing
Greeting and welcoming customers to the showroom with a friendly and professional demeanour
Assisting customers in browsing and selecting furniture products that meet their requirements
Providing product information, including features, specifications, pricing and delivery options
Processing customer enquiries and transactions accurately and efficiently
Supporting the sales team in closing sales and achieving sales targets
Maintaining an organised and visually appealing showroom environment
Handling cash and card transactions with accuracy and attention to detail
Responding to customer questions and resolving concerns promptly and professionally
Assisting with stock management and inventory tracking as required
Supporting marketing and promotional activities within the showroom
Preparing and providing accurate quotes in response to online customer enquiries, and following up enquiries to assist in converting them into sales
Updating and changing showroom tickets and pricing during promotional periods to ensure all product information is accurate and current
Obtaining freight and delivery quotes and assisting customers with delivery options and related enquiries
What we're looking for
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers




Essential availability to work Thursday late-night trading and Sundays, with availability to work Saturdays as required
Strong sales ability with a genuine desire to help customers find the right products
Ability to work independently and as part of a team-oriented team
Numeracy skills and proficiency with cash handling and point-of-sale systems
Attention to detail and organisational skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services
Physical capability to assist with moving and demonstrating furniture items
