Indigeco is recruiting an Indigenous Identified Administration Officer for our client, a Queensland-based organisation operating in the ports, infrastructure and resources sector.
This is a 12 month maternity cover opportunity with strong potential to extend or transition into a permanent role.
This role will provide broad administrative support across the business and act as an important first point of contact for visitors, general enquiries and office support services.
It is ideal for a First Nations administration professional who is organised, customer focused and confident supporting a busy office environment.
This is an Identified position for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Peoples.

ABOUT YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide a high standard of administrative support across the business in a timely, accurate and professional manner
Manage visitors, general enquiries and telephone enquiries, acting as a welcoming first point of contact for the office
Support office tenancy administration, including seating, lockers, access cards, maintenance requests and car park matters
Organise, book and communicate travel arrangements for staff across the organisation
Undertake general office support including mail, stationery, kitchen supplies, couriers, catering and meeting room set up
Maintain reception, meeting rooms and office spaces, including support with videoconference and teleconference facilities
Format and produce documents, maintain databases and spreadsheets, photocopy materials and compile reports or papers to support the business

ABOUT YOUR REQUIREMENTS
You identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander
Demonstrated experience providing administration, reception, office coordination or business support services
Strong communication and customer service skills, with confidence engaging with visitors, staff and stakeholders
Ability to manage competing priorities, organise workloads and deliver accurate work within agreed timeframes
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to improving processes and solving day-to-day workplace issues
Experience using Microsoft Office programs, databases, spreadsheets, electronic records systems and video conferencing tools, or ability to learn quickly
A Certificate in Business Administration, or willingness to obtain one, will be highly regarded

Annual salary up to $74K + super
12 month maternity cover with strong potential to extend or become permanent
