Casual Independent Support Worker (Contractor)
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate and flexible Independent Support Worker (contractor) to join our small team in theGreenbank area.
Current Shift Availability
Monday:12:00am – 8:00am
Thursday:8:00pm – 8:00am
Friday:8:00pm – 8:00am
Saturday:8:00am – 8:00pm
Most available shifts are12 hours in duration.
Applicants do not need to be available for all shifts.
Full availability is certainly welcome; however, if you are regularly available for even one of the above shifts, we would still love to hear from you.

Our client is a vibrant and outgoing individual who enjoys:
Social outings and being part of the community
Zumba, The Wiggles and train sets
Learning to cook and participating in simple meal preparation
Visiting the library
Going to the cinema
Dining out and enjoying meals in the community
Shopping and participating in community activities
He experiences some challenges with communication; however, he has made significant progress with the consistent support of our team and responds well to patient, positive and supportive approaches.
You will provide a combination of community access,



in-home support and skill-building, particularly around social participation, cooking, shopping, household tasks and increasing independence.
Previous disability support experience is advantageous but not essential.
Buddy training will be provided within a welcoming and supportive workplace.
Essential Requirements
ABN (we can assist with setting this up if required)
NDIS Worker Screening Clearance – Yellow Card
Working with Children Check – Blue Card (or willingness to obtain; support can be provided)
Current First Aid & CPR
Public Liability and Professional Indemnity Insurance –$10 million cover each
Valid Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle
Comprehensive vehicle insurance and roadside assistance
Completion of required NDIS Worker Training Modules
