About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to join the firm's Commercial team.
Supporting a group of busy lawyers, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice through high-quality administrative and secretarial support.
Providing exceptional administrative and secretarial support to Partners and lawyers
Preparing and formatting legal documents, contracts, correspondence and reports
Managing diaries, appointments and meeting coordination
Liaising professionally with clients and stakeholders via phone and email
Opening and closing matters, electronic filing and file management
Assisting with billing, time entry and finance administration
Coordinating document execution and settlement requirements where required
Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with firm procedures
Attending team meetings and providing general administrative support
About You
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary or Legal Administrator within a commercial law environment
Excellent document formatting and administrative skills
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
High attention to detail and accuracy
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
Outstanding communication and client service skills
A proactive, professional and team-focused approach
Previous experience using Affinity software will be highly regarded
Experience with intellectual property would be highly desirable
