About the Mobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician Role
As aMobile Diesel Mechanic/Technician,you'll be the expert our customers rely on to keep their fleets on the road.
This field-based role is perfect forskilled technicianswho enjoy independence and variety in their work.
You'll be responsible for performingpreventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairson Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, including emergency roadside service when needed.
Geared up with your own, fully equippedcompany service truck, top-tier tools, and a supportive team that values yourskill, drive and dedication, you'll tackle new challenges every day and take pride in deliveringsafe, reliable and efficient servicethat keeps America moving.
Where You'll Make an Impact
Performonsite preventative maintenance, DOT inspectionsand follow up repairs on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers in amobile field environment.
Handleemergency road service callswith confidence and urgency.
Respond todispatch requestsfor scheduled and unscheduled service or maintenance.
Diagnose and repairelectrical, brake, cooling, and air systems- everything that keeps a fleet running strong.
Use advanced diagnostic tools, including handheld computers and precision instruments, toidentify and fix issues fast.
Put your expertise to work usinghand tools, power tools, and welding equipmentto get the job done right.
Road test vehiclesto ensure every repair meets top-quality standards.
Stay productive and efficient, meeting or beatingindustry-standard repair times.
Work withtrusted vendorsto source parts and keep operations moving.
Take ownership of acompany-issued service truck, perform maintenance and pre- and post-trip inspections, and ensuring safety compliance.
Jump in wherever needed – we're ateam that supports each other.
What Makes You a Great Fit
At least3 years of hands-on diesel tech experienceworking on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers.
DOT inspection and air brake repair expertisethat keeps fleets rolling safely.
Strong communication skills– you know how to connect and communicate with customers and drivers alike.
Comfortable usingmobile apps, navigation systems and digital toolsto stay organized and document repairs.
Ready for the outdoors– rain or shine at customer yards.
Independent, dependable, and self-motivated– you take pride in getting the job done right.
A positive attitude and safety-first mindset.
Mustbe 23+with a clean driving recordand avalid driver's license.
Bring yourown hand toolsand we'll supply everything else.
Work Environment
Work in dynamic, high-traffic areas – safety and precision are key.
Expect exposure todust, diesel fumes, and noisetypical of a shop or yard environment.
Safely handlechemicals, oils, and greaseas part of repair work.
Be ready tolift, move, and positionheavy equipment or components.
